Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations supporting a continuous manufacturing environment. This role oversees inbound raw material/feedstock logistics, warehouse storage and inventory control, internal material movements to production, and outbound shipment of finished hazardous chemicals, primarily through bulk truck transportation.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted plant operations through strong coordination between suppliers, carriers, warehouse personnel, production, customer service, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate combines operational execution, inventory discipline, transportation management, and process improvement capabilities within an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Storage Operations

· Lead warehouse operations

· Develop and maintain warehouse layout strategies

· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

· Manage warehouse personnel

· Coordinate management of packaged raw materials and finished products.

Inbound Feedstock & Raw Material Logistics

· Manage inbound transportation and receiving schedules

· Monitor supplier performance and carrier execution

Manufacturing Material Flow

· Coordinate internal movement of materials

· Ensure timely replenishment of inventory

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate inventory levels

· Monitor inventory aging

· Ensure ERP transactions and inventory records are accurate and timely.

· Develop reporting and KPI dashboards

Outbound Logistics & Customer Shipments

· Manage and load outbound shipment of hazardous bulk chemicals

· Coordinate shipment schedules.

· Monitor freight performance

· Support freight procurement activities

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

· Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives

· Develop and standardize operating procedures
